Life changing work in cyber security is waiting for you.
Malicious cyber activity is a threat to New Zealand businesses and individuals. While technology is part of the solution – the most critical need is for skilled and motivated people to help secure our communities.
That’s why we created the CyberCX Academy.
The program is open to university and Polytechnic graduates, school leavers and people seeking a career change or looking to re-enter the workforce.
Who are we looking for?
People as diverse as the community we serve.
If you’re new to this world, we’ll teach you everything you need to know on the go.
If you have recently graduated with qualifications in cyber security, network engineering or computer science, you might be a great fit. We’re also interested in people from law, arts or commerce that have a keen interest in the field.
But you don’t need to have a degree or have just graduated. If you skipped higher education or have experience in the corporate world and you’re looking for a change, we’d love to hear from you.
Personal attributes we look for
You’ll be a great fit if you can demonstrate that you are:
You’re curious about new things and are up for a challenge.
You’re open to feedback and learning from others.
You work well with others, and you’ll contribute to making us a great team.
You take ownership and aim for high quality results.
A good communicator
You share information in a way other people can easily understand it.
